Trey's Shades

4.6.08
Trey is into wearing everyone's shades but his own. He has broken 2 pairs of mine, so I am always telling him he can't wear mine. Today, I was feeling generous and decided to let him wear mine if he promised to be extra careful! Justin thought he looked so cute in them, he asked that I take a picture!

Thank You Gerratt's!

4.5.08
Thank you Gerratt's for watching Trey! We were invited to a Surprise Birthday Party for Ian Brown and we didn't know what to do with Trey. We haven't been invited to too many parties where it was "adults only" and our favorite babysitter Taylor was unavailable. Who did I turn to? The Gerratt's! We can always count on them for help and really appreciate their kindness.

Luckily, the party was literally 2 miles from the Gerratt's home, and we were only gone for about an hour and a half, but I was at complete ease, knowing Trey was in good hands!

They took Trey and his scooter on a walk, they fed him dinner, and played with bubbles. When I called to tell them we were on our way back, Sommers was saying her husband Scott was in the middle of reading Trey a story!
They are the greatest, we are so blessed to have their friendship.

Thank you Sommers, Scott, Shaydon and Roxy!

Here are pictures they took of their adventures that evening!

Fam Nite at Flat Bread Community Oven

4.4.08
I had been telling Justin nonstop about the Flat Bread Pizza place, so we decided to go on a Friday night. We had the same waitress, Alyssa, as we did for our play date, and she was sweet enough to take our picture! We once again got to watch Trey's pizza bake!

After Pizza, we went to Powell's Candy Shoppee where we got a gag gift for our friend Ian Brown's 30th Birthday party, and ate yummy ice cream while we watched Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, IN THE STORE! (There were three leather theater-style chairs just for us to sit and enjoy the movie with our ice cream!)

Game Nite

3.30.08
Game Nite with the Peterson's! We started the evening with kite flying, Justin's kite still has not gotten off the ground, but Trey's did phenominal! Trey and Caleb enjoyed running with the kite, quite funny to watch if you ask me!
The wind was getting a little too chilly, so we moved our entertainment indoors where we played the game BANG!
While we played our game, Trey and Caleb enjoyed wrestling and listening to one of their favorite soundtracks, High School Musical! Caleb is just as enthused about High School Musical as Trey, it was fun to watch them rock out to the songs they love!

Playdate with Megan

3.27.08
Our first playdate without Angie and Beni seemed a bit empty. Angie just had baby Beck and was recovering!
Our morning first began with Megan and Trey playing on our play structure, riding scooters and throwing balls.

Next we moved inside for lunch of chicken nuggets and applesauce.
I have been pressuring Wendy to begin a blog, and so this afternoon we decided to set one up for her family. Trey and Megan were entertained by the Letter Factory and a push along toy from IKEA!

Trey took an amazing nap after our play date, I know he enjoyed himself and loves his time with his girlfriends!
