Fishing

4.25.09
After taking our sand bath at the Bruneau Sand Dunes, we went fishing! The boys (Trey and Justin) went fishing while Tian was sleeping and I caught up on some continued education credits for work. When Tian woke up, he started chatting up a storm! I love moments like that! Chatting is such sweet noise coming from our 7 month old!

Trey loved playing with the worms, which really surprised me! He can't stand flies, bees or hornets, but a wriggly worm was the coolest thing to him. Here is Trey and Justin playing with the worms. Shortly after this, Trey was walking backwards and fell into a firepit. Not to worry, there was no fire in it!

Bruneau Sand Dunes

4.25.09
I have heard Justin talk about the Bruneau Sand Dunes ever since we met, but have never gone! This Saturday we decided to take a trip out to the "big Sand Box!" We packed our sleds, knowing we could possibly ride them down the hill, some summer clothes (it was one of the first nice days of spring), and the fishing poles!

I didn't plan on the weather being so windy and chilly, so, needless to say, our summer clothes were a poor choice. The sleds didn't quite work, but running down the hill did! Trey loved it! Tian was very interested in the sand and letting it drop through his little chubby fingers! I was finding sand in every crease for days!

This picture makes me laugh, and I hope it makes my mom laugh too! My hair-do (due to the extreme wind!) makes me look like a FLDS or Mennonite member!!!

This is the last time Tian was in the baby Bjorn! He is just WAY too big and HEAVY! Hiking up that Sand Dune hill was quite the workout!

Dentist Visit #4

4.22.09
Trey really loves Dr. Higer. What 3.5 year old loves the Dentist? Not many. But when you can watch one of your favorite movies (Surf's Up) while getting your teeth cleaned, how could you not feel at ease. This was Trey's 4th trip to the dentist and he did so well. I think the hygentist wanted Trey to come back with her by himself, but he wasn't into that idea. Although, he did go into another room, by himself, for x-rays! I was too brave for words.

No cavities! I am now brushing his teeth and flossing with him laying down, with his head in my lap. I can see his teeth so much better, and he lets me brush them so much longer. A suggested from Dr. Higer!

Cute Dr. Higer. With each, she looks younger and younger!
Flouride treatment. NASTY!!! I just about gagged watching him lay there with that tray in his mouth. NASTY!!!

Backyard Water Fun

4.23.09
The sun followed us home to Idaho from Oregon and we enjoyed one of our first days home out in the sun and playing in the sprinklers!

Trey quickly turned Tian's tears into giggles!
