Trey Dancing to Karaoke

12.31.08
I went to the restroom and when I returned, this is what I found Trey doing! The singers are Melissa and Kyli! (I told you Melissa I got you on tape! We loved you guys!)

New Year's Party at the Dummars

12.31.08
Tiffany and Nephi Dummar are amazing! They are always throwing amazing parties, opening up their gigantic home to friends!
This party was no exception! Great food, great company, and great entertainment (Karaoke!). Trey even took part in the Karaoke; he helped sing a Christmas Song!

Trey's turn at Karaoke

If you could only imagine the noise level this evening. I think my ears are still ringing! Trey and Tian both stayed up past midnight! This is what Tian looked like all evening!

Earlier in the night, before I joined the spectators of the Karaoke, I was searching and searching the Dummars home for Trey. I thought Justin had Trey, but couldn't see Trey anywhere near Justin. I ran into their basement and was searching through room after room, frantically trying to find our little man. (I felt like Patsy Ramsey, looking for JonBonet Ramsey. I thought this could be a perfect opportunity for some creep to sneak into a party without being noticed, take some cute little boy and do who knows what. I was getting nervous!) Thankfully Kyli saw I was getting a bit nervous and told me Trey was up with Justin in the kitchen. Sure enough, Trey was right by Justin's side. Don't ask me why I couldn't see him in the first place!
Thank you Kyli for saving me from the anxiety I was feeling!

Trey ringing in the new year! (sorry about the red eye, I couldn't edit it out for some reason!)

One last picture of our family before the new year 2009!

Ring in the New Year

12.31.08
Trey was so excited to celebrate the New Year! We were invited to a party at the Dummars, and do they know how to throw a party! Thanks Tiffany and Nephi for a great night!

Lego Master

12.30.08
This is for my nephews Jared and Jacob! They think they are pretty amazing when it comes to Lego constructing (which they are!) but can you build a train out of Legos while answering a phone call, feeding your 3 year old his lunch AND your baby his bottle? Building all one handed? Try to beat THAT!

Skully

12.30.08
Shortly after Tian was born, I was given the kindess present from my friend Sara. So personal and creative, Sara knows I love skulls and cross bones. So, she made 4 personal onsies for Mr. Tian! I love them! Thanks Sara! (you have GOT to check out the cakes she makes! The are AMAZING!)

Trey's own 4-wheeler

12.29.08
Trey's attempt at his own 4-wheeler! It was a sunny day but still a little chilly! Trey drove up and down the sidewalk, while Tian watched from inside the garage!

Trey's new 4-wheeler, just like Grandpa Bend's!

Tian watching Trey from the garage. Tian loves to be snuggly warm and out of the wind! Go figure!

Church

12.28.08
The last Sunday of the year 2008, the last day of nursery for Trey! I could tell Trey was ready for Primary because he was SUPER jealous of all the BIG kids coming out of Primary with crowns on their heads. When we got home, Trey talked Justin into making him a crown!

You'd think Trey had something yummy on his face with the way his tongue was hanging out, but no, he was just being silly!

This dapper outfit of Tian's is thanks to my friend and co-worker Shelly!!! Thanks Shelly for the giftcard!

Tian's new 'do

12.27.08
I miss this hair already! You can see the horrible job I did on Tian's haircut if you look at the sides of Tian's head. So sad.

1st haircut

12.27.08
First haircut at 14 weeks, and I did a HORRIBLE job! I think I was nervous, as you can tell by the pictures, Tian wasn't happy at all! I think he knew what was happening before I even brought the scissors to his sideburns. (AND, I think I cursed his cute hair, because he quickly lost most of it within about 2 weeks of his 1st haircut! Why didn't I just wait?!)

"Once there was a Snowman..."

12.24.08
Check out this snowman! It took Justin, Taylor and Robert to lift the "head" onto the snowman.

To keep the snowbuilding tradition alive, Justin and my brothers also built a snow fort/slide. Trey is so brave, sliding in all different directions down this slide. I even attempted the slide!!!

And while we were playing in the snow, Grandpa Bend tended to Tian. It was so cute, through the window, I saw Grandpa Bend dancing with Tian! You can often find Grandpa snuggled up with Tian, just as he did with baby Trey! Thanks Dad for watching Tian while we played in the snow! It was so nice not having to worry about Tian, and I am sure he enjoyed some time with just you! He sure does love you!

Just as Tian had done earlier in the day, Trey came in from an afternoon in the snow, and was out cold! Rosey cheeks and all, fell right asleep on the couch!

Bath in Grandma's Sink

12.24.08
We did this with Trey when he was Tian's age, so, we thought Tian would enjoy it. He did of course. He just looks so cute wet and clean!

Lego

12.24.08
After sledding, Trey came inside and worked with his Lego pieces, with Uncle Taylor and Tian watching over! That was always the fun part about Christmas growing up. Once all of the present opening ended, playing with our toys was something we would do all afternoon long. It was awesome to see Trey as a big boy, enjoying his Lego's, teaching Taylor a thing or two about Lego building. Tian enjoyed just watching the two boys work their magic, Lego style!
