Trampoline

3.1.08
The Trampoline is one of Trey's favorite things to do in Bend.

GiGi and G.Pa's dream home

3.1.08
My Grandparents dream is to move to Bend and build a home on my parents property. They have the perfect place for the lot (it backs up to BLM land and has a perfect view of the ranch) and have picked the perfect home. NOW, if their home would sell.
There is a manufacturing plant in Bend that makes amazing manufactured homes. I have heard so much about "their home" but have never seen it. I was in shock, it was beautiful. Here is a picture of Grandma Bend and Trey in front of the model home GiGi and G.Pa have chosen. As you can see, we were in the middle of a hail/snow storm.

Wishes Do Come True!!!

3.1.08
Trey's wish came true: a baby cow was born while we were in Bend. G.Pa had gone out to feed the baby cows and noticed a cow was far out in one field all by itself. As he got closer to the cow, he could see that it truly WASN'T all by itself, it was actually with it's baby that had just been born. So, G.Pa, Robert and Grandpa Bend brought the baby up to the barn, the mom followed, for Trey and the rest of us to see them!

Grandma Bend brought Trey, wrapped in a sheet (I guess I didn't tell her where his coat was. SORRY, terrible mom I am!) and stood out on the trampoline to get the best view of the baby cow and it's mom!

Saturday Morning Cartoons

3.1.08
What a special Saturday Morning for Trey! He got to watch Saturday morning cartoons with his uncle Robert. Trey idolizes Robert! He can usually be found hot on Robert's track.

Chinese Birthday Dinner

2.29.08
Chan's Chinese was one of the best places in High School to eat chinese. So, with my birthday, Robert's birthday, and my Grandpa's birthday all in March, my dad surprised us with a Chinese Birthday Dinner from Chan's. My favorite, the Egg Flower Soup. YUMMY!

Cookies at Delaney's

2.29.08
Abbey and Delaney invited Trey over for lunch and frosting cookies. I warned Abbey that Trey probably would spend more of his time eating and cookies and licking the frosting (which he did!).

It is so interesting to observe the difference between girls and boys when it comes to crafts and cooking. Trey just wants to eat everything and finish everything in a timely fashion. Delaney and her friend McKenna, they sat and spread the frosting so nicely over the cookie with such detail.

Bend or Bust

2.27.08
Trey and I loaded up our car and headed off to Bend, Oregon with GiGi and G.Pa in tow!
The trip went fairly well, I did think I lost my grandparents somewhere between a foggy section and Brothers, Oregon, but it just turns out that my Grandpa started to doze at the wheel, so he turned the driving over to my Grandma. (I didn't realize this had happened until AFTER we arrived in Bend, and I just about FREAKED! After Justin and my wedding reception, my Grandpa and cousin were driving back to Utah and my Grandpa fell asleep at the wheel and rolled his truck, so flashbacks filled my mind. AHHHHHHH! So, needless to say, rolling a car in Brother, Oregon would have NOT been the best place to be standed.)
Trey was VERY excited to see his Grandma Bend, and the new baby cows that had been born days before we arrived! We were hoping more baby cows would be born while we were there. Trey says the baby cows are "beautiful."

Golden Corral with the Grandparents

2.26.08
We had the opportunity to dine with two sets of Trey's Grandparents, GiGi and G.Pa (my Grandparents) and Grandma Marie and Grandpa Larry (Justin's parents!). GiGi and G.Pa were on their way to Bend, Oregon, and due to the unexpected early birth of Tyson Bledsoe, Marie and Larry came in to help with the kids. Trey was in heaven. There aren't too many opportunities for Trey to bask in the light of TWO sets of Grandparents. We decided to dine at the good ol' Golden Corral, my Grandparents favorite place to go, and what can you say, they have EVERYTHING you could possibly want.
It was wonderful visiting with them both, these two grandparents haven't seen eachother since Justin and I graduated from Boise State, which was at least 6 years ago. There was a lot of catching up to do!

Discovery Center

2.23.08
We took Trey to the Discovery Center. We must have been inspired because when we got there, we found that they were doing a one-day-only Geocaching demonstration AND a toddler/preschool story hour and craft time. Perfect activities for the whole family.
The story we listened to was about making toys out of everyday materials, we made a paper bag puppet!

Two attractions that Trey loved were: #1. The mirrors #2. The Grocery Store
Trey immediately started talking to the four of himself in the mirror, kissing them, "holding" their hands. I got a little teary eyed, thinking, how sweet, I can imagine 4 Trey's, and then I got this terrifying feeling, FOUR Trey's, AHHHHHH! Freak me out! Those tears quickly left my eyes.

I knew the grocery store would be Trey's favorite place to play. The Discovery Center has the neatest, most realistic grocery store you can imagine. AS you look at these pictures, you will be able to see what Trey would enjoy eating all day long if he had it way: Milk and Bananas.
The checkout conveyor belt was Trey's favorite part.

Bowling

2.22.08
One of the advantages of Justin's new job position is that he will be able to come home much more earlier. We were planning on traveling to McCall this weekend to enjoy the snow, but with a huge snow storm threatening the McCall area, we decided to stay clear of their nasty, narrow roads. Instead, we decided to stay close to home and celebrate Dad's new job!
We began with bowling which is Trey's new little hobby/sport!

After Trey kicked my trash at bowling (he DID have a ramp, but I had bumpers, so I have NO excuse!!!)we went and saw the movie August Rush. Talk about a tear jerker. I thought it could have gone on for at least 2 more hours. So many unanswered questions.

Playgroup at Cabella's

2.21.08
We enjoyed Cabella's so much a week ago, we decided to take our girlfriends Beni and Megan to playgroup. It was so fun watching the differences between Trey, the boy, and his two girl friends. They were so sweet, talking to the "really dead" animals (as Trey calls them!) and watching the fish swim so gracefully. (Beni picked out a pink fish that I think she nicknamed "Princess!")

And then there is Trey, teaching them how to shoot guns and play video games. Megan looked like she really got into the gun shooting, Beni on the other hand held the gun in her hand like a baby.

Those two girls are so sweet!
After Cabella's, we went across the street to Wendy's for lunch. (Wendy's the fast food joint, NOT Megan's mom Wendy!)

Baby Tyson James Bledsoe

2.19.08
Weeks early, Tyson James Bledsoe arrived into this world weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces. At first glance, he looks like his big sister Tacy. We were lucky enough to meet him hours after he was born, before his own brothers and sisters got to meet him. Tina sure looks happy he is out huh?! (she is in the background of my picture!)
Congratulations Bledsoe Family!

Mr. Independent

2.19.08
Mr. Independent decided HE needed to dress himself for Miss Michelle's today. Notice the inside out jacket and the socks with flip-flops!

Saturday Mornings

2.16.08
This morning was so warm, Justin and Trey spent it out on the swings in their pj's!

I love this picture of Justin!

Sweet Valentine Evening

2.14.08
Justin surprised me and got Taylor Toll to babysit Trey while we enjoyed an entertaining dinner at Brick 29 in downtown Nampa. There was delicious food with a one-man-band to entertain us. Many couples got up and danced to the music, Justin and I enjoyed sitting comfortably, watching them cut a rug!

Thanks Just for a sweet Valentine's dinner!

Sprinkles!

2.14.08
Some sprinkles off the Valentine's cookies Trey decorated at Wendy's earlier in the day!

Miss Michelle's Valentine's Day Party

2.14.08
Miss Michelle is the very best. She handed out lists of all of the "friends" that attend her daycare for the kids to make Valentine's for. We handed out cards and little baggies of candy.

Trey was so excited to see is friends. He sat so quietly, said "Thank You" with the rest of the kids, all in sync, and when it was his turn, he jumped up eager to hand out all of his valentines. I handed him the valentines and told him who they were to go to. He handed them out like a pro!

This is Trey handing his Valentine to one of his idols at Miss Michelle's: Jarron! He loves picking up Jarron from the School Bus stop on some Wednesdays and is always so excited to see Jarron!

Thanks Michelle for inviting Trey to such a fun Valentine's exchange!

Valentine's Playgroup!

2.14.08
I woke up to a sweet card and package of Sweedish Fish(my favorite candy!) from Justin and we ate fruit crepes I had prepared the night before. The card from Justin said inside, "Don't make anything for dinner, I have plans!" He had asked Taylor a few weeks prior to watch Trey while he surprised me for Valentine's Day! Justin knows I love surprises!

I got my hair trimmed from the fabulous Annabelle, and then it was off to Playgroup, Valentine's Day style!

We went to Wendy and Megan's home to decorate sugar cookies! They were delicious, Angie made the greatest cookies that Trey just gobbled up!

Thanks Angie and Wendy for going WAY out of your way to make Trey's Valentine's Day so special!

Valentine's from Trey

2.13.08
Justin helped Trey "sign" all of his Valentine's. Trey picked them out himself, they were Happy Feet. He first wanted Princess, but quickly found Happy Feet which made ME happy!

Cabella's

2.13.08
I have stayed away from Cabella's long enough, and ventured inside for Justin's Valentine's present. Boy, did I wait too long. I found out it was a free, indoor zoo(too bad most of the animals are "too dead" like Trey put it! He didn't like the Polar Bear, and I asked "why." His reply, "It is too dead!")

Trey's favorite part was the hunting arcade game. The men working at the store got a kick out of watching him "play" (he didn't realize you needed quarters to work the machine!).
