Trick-or-Treating with the Cousins
10.31.08
Can you tell Trey LOVES "trick-or-treating"? It was a nonstop Halloween day!
After "Trunk-or-Treating," we went to "the cousins" neighborhood!
Trey and cousin Tacy as Snow White
Trey running from house to house. The following morning, Trey woke up with a limp. I asked him what was wrong with his foot, and he said, "Too much trick-or-treating." Honestly, Trey RAN from door to door!
The long march back to "the cousins" house after a ton of candy gathering!
The loot!
Thanks cousins for inviting us over to your neck of the woods!
Trunk-or-Treat
10.31.08
For those who don't know what "trunk-or-treating" is, it is when cars park side by side in a parking lot, open their trunks, and hand out candy! Our ward does it every year and what a success it always is. Surprisingly this year was extremly warm.
There were the most clever trunks this year, but I had to get a video of the Jones'. They are serious BSU fans!

Astro-Jumps at the Church?!
10.31.08
After "trick-or-treating" in Downtown Nampa, we went "trunk-or-treating" at the church. Look what we saw from about a mile away sitting on the lawn of the church: An Astro-Jump-Slide. Do you know how excited Trey was to see that at the church? I am surprised he didn't ask for it two days later, when we attended church! The Dummars are amazing and have a huge assortment of "pop-up" houses, slides, water slides, etc. It was such a hit, I didn't think anyone was going to "trunk-or-treat." Thanks Dummars for being the highlight of the night! It was so much fun watching the kids slide down in their costumes!

Downtown Nampa
10.31.08
For the 2nd year in a row, we "trick-or-treated" to all the stores in Downtown Nampa with the Warricks! After spending time at Justin's work and going out to lunch, Justin decided to take the rest of the day off and join us for trick-or-treating! Beni and her baby brother Beck were supposed to join us for our annual trek, but due to Beni's upset tummy, they had to stay home. We missed you guys!
Trey and Megan had the greatest ride around downtown Nampa
Megan was a serious trooper and walked most of the way, but ended up catching a ride with Trey. Their chauffer: Justin!
The Shark and his girlfriend; the Cheerleader!
Trey was so excited to see his girlfriend Megan, the Cheerleader. I don't even know if HE knew what a cheerleader was until he saw Megan in her cute costume.
Thanks Wendy, Megan and baby Ashlyn for joining us! We had the greatest time!

Daddy's Work
10.31.08
Justin was so kind to watch the boys while I went to my 6-week follow up appointment with Dr. West, OBGYN. To be honest, I was seriously teary-eyed leaving their office. I became so used to seeing Timmy (Dr. West!!!) and Christy so regularly, it is sad to think I wont be seeing them on a regular base for quite some time. I just love them! After my appointment, I ran to the hospital and dropped off birth announcements and thank you notes to my favorite nurses Hope (in Labor and Delivery) and Cathie (in the Mother/Baby unit). Being in the health care profession myself, I LOVE when patients send me sweet thank you notes or write complimentary things on a comment card. I wanted them to know how wonderful my stay and service was, thanks to them!
When I arrived at Justin's office, I found Trey had already "trick-or-treated" to some of Justin's co-workers. His office is so kind, always wanting us to bring the boys in. This was the first for most of Justin's co-workers to see Tian! Hopefully they thought he looked cute in his little pirate costume! (his "day-time" costume!)
Ahoy Tian!
The boys at Justin's desk
Thanks Justin for watching the boys during my appointment. It would have been quite the crowded exam room with the three of us, AND Dr. West!

Rescue Pack
*tyler d.*
10.30.08
We had the opportunity to have Tyler come over and play while his mommy helped at some Halloween Parties for his older sisters! Here are some things we did with Tyler while he was at our home:
*Read Books
*Played with Tools, Cars and Rescue Heroes
*Mixed ingredients for playdough
*Made playdough ghosts and decorated them (I had the boys take off their shirts so they wouldn't get the sticky dough on their clothes!!!)
*Ate pumpkin cookies
Thanks Alyce for letting Tyler come and play! We had a great time with Tyler and hope he can come over real soon!
Isn't Tyler the cutest?!

Halloween Carnival
10.29.08
Justin had a volleyball game, and James was out of town, so, Tina (my sister-in-law) invited us to come to her ward's "Halloween Carnival." It was so much fun. Each auxillary was in charge of a game or station for the children to participate in. There was even "Witches Brew" drinks and a cotton candy machine; ran by the bishop!
Trey particiapted in his first cake walk and won!!! Thanks Tina and "the cousins" for inviting us to your wards carnival!
cake-walk winnings
Tacy "the kitty" in the cake-walk
The shark "fishing!" (he really liked this station!)
Ring toss around the pumkin stems (very clever station!)

1st Mall Experience
Power Ranger
10.27.08
While shopping at Target, Trey stumbled upon a Power Ranger mask. Trey freaks when he sees people in any form of mask, so I was very surprised when he put the Power Ranger mask on himself. He wore that mask all throughout Target, as well as throughout Costco, and on the car ride home.
So, what did he want to wear 1st thing this morning? That silly mask!
He changed into these blue pj pants because he said they were his Power Ranger pants!
And then he insisted on wearing it in the car while we ran errands! (he promised he would take it off when we got in public!)

Tian @ 6 weeks
1st Sunday Back
10.26.08
I am a wuss. I didn't take Trey back to church for 6 weeks, and I waited 5 weeks with Tian. I am not a germ-a-phobe, but I do realize how many germs are residing in the chapel of church. So, today was our first day back to church and my first day back to teaching! I was a bit nervous, not knowing how I was going to find time to study for my lesson, but it all worked out. The lesson was perfect for me; just what I needed to study!
About 1.5 hours before church was to begin, Justin called me saying I had a meeting with TJ Jones 45 minutes before church was to begin. I quickly tried to get everyone ready to get out the door, and Trey has a serious melt down. I can't even remember what it was about, but he cried nonstop for about a half hour. Poor little emotional guy. Needless to say, I was late to my meeting!
TJ informed me that I was being released from my teaching calling. I was a bit sad (which is SOOOOOOOO strange, because every week, preparing for my lesson, I would dread having to give it.), but knew that the Lord had a better place for me. Which, that place is with Achievement Days! I can't wait to teach the 8-10 year old girls! It will be so much fun!!!
Our first day back to church was wonderful! Our little guys looked so sweet in their matching outfits! Trey in his khaki pin-striped suit and Tian in his pin-striped khakis and sweater.

Tian at 5 weeks old (what a rebel, a faux hawk for church!)
