This morning while Trey ate his oatmeal, I quickly left a voice mail on Justin's work number reminding him of his sister Christina's birthday. When I got off the phone, Trey said, "Who's that?" I said, "Dad. I was reminding him of Christina's Birthday." This was Trey's response, "No, Trey's Birthday." I asked him, "How old are you turning Trey," and he said, "22!" Where he came up with that is beyond ME!

Alphabet lessons at WINCO?

This blog is mainly for my own benefit, I want to jot down every little thing Trey-Man accomplishes before I forget them with my every day chaos! So, please forgive me during this bragging session, my feeling will NEVER be hurt if you just cruise on by these posts!
We were shopping in the Fresh Produce section of WINCO and Trey said, "I see 2 'E's." I said, "WHAT?" He said, "SEE," as he points to the FRESH PRODUCE sign in HUGE red letters above the lettuce and organic veggies! Then he proceeded to point to all of the other letters. He found 2 R's, an S, an O and a C! I was amazed.
Please don't credit me, I swear it is the Leap Frog Letter Factory series that Miss Michelle introduced to us a LONG time ago and some serious brain washing! Repetition is mandatory at this age for any learning to occur, and we are the KING and QUEENS for repetition!

Terrible friend I am, it has taken me THIS long to get Miss Sydney Moore her Christmas gift. I promise, it has been in our home, wrapped and all since the beginning of December, but as our schedules would have it, I never made it to their home in time!
I think Trey overwhelmed Sydney and Angie, bless Sydney's heart! Trey really, and I mean REALLY enjoyed all of her toys, and she was so sweet to let him go crazy!
I really cherish the friendship we have with the Moore's and am so excited for their new addition which will be arriving in June! Syd will be an amazing big sister!

Sommers and the Diapers!

During Trey's nap, Sommers and Shaydon came over so I could show her how I sew burp cloths! I love these afternoons with the two "S's," we had a wonderful time chatting, eating, and lovin' on Mr. Shaydon! Thanks for spending the afternoon with me!

Trey's new 'do

I am a bit embarrassed at how long I have gone without getting Trey's hair cut. My ideal haircut for him would be BabyGap meets Trey Bledsoe. But, I have come to the conclusion that I need to even out his hair and let it grow in thick before I try any fancy stuff on this little guy.
So, it was off to Annabelle's for a new 'do, and what an amazing job she does. She too sees the vision I have for Trey's hair and is really helping me achieve my goal.
After his haircut, Annabelle presented him with his most favorite possession at the moment right now: A Sparring helmet and sparring gloves! Her whole family is into Sparring (including her, she is a blue belt, and her husband!!! She amazes me!) and her youngest son has grown out of his gear. So, he handed it down to Trey, who is now in heaven!
Thanks Annabelle for making Trey's YEAR! He LOVES his "mask," aka: the sparring helmet!
