Sk8r Boi (AKA Skater Boy!)

2.9.08
As I was enjoying Tina's Baby Shower, Trey and Justin were testing out Trey's new toy, a skateboard. We were shopping for Tina's oldest son Jerad's birthday present and Trey just so happened to find a skateboard, just his size.
He is actually pretty good, but I am afraid for the day when it gets warm outside and he wants to try to ride down the driveway. Thankfully, medically imaging for our family is free, I think we could be taking advantage of it very soon!

Tina's Shower

2.9.08
My sister-in-law Tina had a Baby Shower/Open House in her honor today and it was a sweet event. She has been waiting for this baby for quite some time, and pretty soon, a baby boy will be joining their family here on earth. (They have 2 girls and 2 boys here on earth, one baby boy of which is waiting for them in heaven!) A sweet little baby boy is the perfect addition to their little family!
Tina's sister Shauna came from Pocatello to celebrate the event with Tina. It was so nice to spend the afternoon catching up with Shauna. I think if she lived around here, we could become really good friends!

This is the present I gave Tina. Sommers and my "famous" burp rags, a "Molly Bear" from Trey (the bear is from IKEA and it is Trey's only favorite stuffed animal. He named HIS Molly, and we think he got the name from Jessica Dribnak's baby daughter Molly!) and two outfits that I think will be adorable on their little baby boy. The best part of this present is the wrapping paper. I bought it after Halloween in McCall, Idaho at their Paul's Market of all places. It is reversible, green on one side, and pink on the other. I seriously should have bought 5 more rolls of it, I use it all of the time!

GNO (Girl's Nite Out!!!)

2.8.08
Jenn Anderson from my ward is so sweet and thoughtful! She put together a Girl's Night for a bunch of girls, on a night when our stake had a Valentine's "Shin-dig", she realized most of our husbands wouldn't have enjoyed going to a stake dance for older adults!

The night began at Smokey Mountain Pizza where we enjoyed delicious food, laughs and great company. They had my favorite strawberry lemonade!
Next, it was off to the movies to watch 27 Dresses, a movie I had been wanting to see but thought it wouldn't interest Justin. Such a cute movie!

When I got home, Justin had Trey already in bed, he had turned on my electric blanket, and had a bubble bath waiting for me. He was upstairs watching a movie, he thought it would be nice to enjoy the rest of my girls night with a nice bath and a warm bed! He is so thoughtful; he had watched Trey all night, and then continued to think of me. I love you Just!

Janae Ambrose thought it would be fun to get a picture of all of us girls, we basically took up one huge row. This is only part of our Girl's group, Jenn, the one heading up this whole evening isn't even in the picture.

Jessica has pictures from dinner which I will have to steal from her page. Just for a warning, I am pretty much a ghost in her picture, I saw a preview and it isn't looking so pretty. I need some serious sun!

Congrats Justin!

2.5.08
About a week ago Justin applied for a promotion at work and was anxious to find out the results. The new position would be a supervisor over all of the construction department at ACHD, a great jump for him, he would be supervising many men twice his age, and one man who was originally his boss when he first began working at ACHD. He had his interview a few days ago and felt pretty good about it but of course didn't know how the rest of the applicants did.

Well, our waiting finally came to a halt when he was called into the offices of his new boss. He got the position and would start working in it as soon as possible.

We are so grateful for his hard work and are looking forward to his new adventures at ACHD.

We celebrated with Panda Express, Sparkling Cider and a yummy chocolate desert!
Congratulations Justin!!!

What's up Doc?

2.5.08
A sick day for the Trey-Man. He just lounged around at Miss Michelle's house the day before, NOT like him at all, and he had a serious green nose. I took him to the doctor and learned something I didn't know. If a child just starts getting signs of a cold and immediately gets a green nose, don't panic. That green snot is from old mucus. (I know, a little too much information, but I could have saved my whole afternoon and NOT taken him to the doctor if I would have known this.) He has a little cold that should go away in a few days (which it did!).

So, on his sick day, what does Trey want to eat? A carrot. Some may think I am nuts for taking a picture of my son eating a carrot, but this is a rare thing, only to be taken seriously!

Needless to say, I think he took two bites of it and then he was done. At least he tried it!
