Pinching you Pennies

Thank you for such a fun girls night! You can't go wrong with yummy food, a funny movie and great company! Thanks for the invite!

I promised an explanation of the website Pinching your Pennies

1. Go to www.pinchingyourpennies.com
2. On the top of the website, there is a toolbar. Select "Coupon List."
3. Select "Screaming Deals by State" at the top of the screen
4. Scrool through the list of states, find the one you are wanting (in our case, Idaho!)
5. Once you select Idaho, it will bring you to a forum. Look for the one that says, "Sticky" (which is a woman's screen name) and the words "Idaho Albertson's" with two dates following it. So, for right now, it says, "Idaho Albertson's (1/14-1/20). Select "Sticky's" forum. (She usually updates it every Wednesday or Thursday. Albertson's sales start every Wednesdays)
6. Select "Albertsons Printable Shopping List"

Scroll through this shopping list. It will have the sales "star rated." I only look at the 5 star ratings.
Next to the sale item, it will tell you if you need to print a coupon (and it will have a link that will take you to the coupon) OR it will tell you where you can find a coupon for it in the Sunday Flyers.

So, the second part of this website is "collecting" all of the Sunday Flyers.
There are three different flyers that will come in the Sunday paper. Every Sunday will have a flyer, but not necessarily all three. Keep all flyers because Pinching your Pennies will refer you to back dated flyers.

I am NOT an expert at this but I find it fun and pretty rewarding. Brook, my friend is the true expert and knows so much more then I do. So, if Brook forwards me any new info, I will pass it along!

Snow Day #2

The snow is sticking. This day I decided to join Trey. (even Cooper thought he would venture out of his dog house and join us!) I had just put Tian down for his nap, I brought the monitor outside, turned it up as loud as it could go, got Trey AND I dressed, ran outside to take a few pictures and to play, and not even 5 minutes later, Tian woke up. It took so long to get ready, I felt so bad for Trey!

Snow

Trey ran outside in the backyard for a few minutes to play in the freshly fallen snow! He didn't last long, but he enjoyed the few minutes he spent playing!

Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam

Our little man is now a Sunbeam! It has been a long time coming, and the day is finally here! I have been preparing Trey for this day for weeks, and he was so excited! In November, I took Trey and Tian into my work, and out of the blue, to the ONLY LDS guy that I work with, Trey said, "Do you know what Thomas? I get to go to Sunbeams!" How did he know Thomas would understand?
Sister Lauralee Newby is his teacher, and he absolutely loves her. In Sacrament Meeting, the morning of his first day of class, I was trying to point out Lauralee to Trey. He was so interested in seeing who she was. Now, whenever Lauralee walks by us, Trey will point, "Mom, that is my teacher!" He talks so fondly of her, and by this first picture, you can tell he really enjoys his class!

His class consists of Bethany Adams, Tyler Dribnak, Mason Williamson, and Megan Warrick!

It was so nice to get together with the Moore's! We have missed them and are glad they invited us to go bowling! You would think that Sydney and Trey were madly in love with each other by the way the followed each other around! They chased each other, wrestled with each other, it was basically sickening!

When Tian was born, my friend Alyce brought over this cute PJ set from Gymboree! I love the colors in it, and Justin likes the Construction Vehicles! I have been waiting for Tian to get big enough to wear it, and that day finally came!

New Years Day activity

At the Dummars, Annabelle Jones and I had planned on taking Tabitha, Trey and Tian to High School Musical. Like we haven't seen it enough, but it IS one of our favorites! Trey was so excited to go with Tabitha, one of his favorite people! Well, after he threw his royal fit of the year (it IS only the first day OF the year!)I told him he couldn't go see a movie with Tabitha. He was heart broken. (I called Annabelle to tell her we wouldn't be seeing the movie, and unfortunately, she wasn't able to go either!) Later in the afternoon, "the cousins" called asking us if we wanted to see the movie Beverly Hill Chihuahua. Being the softy I am, I told them we would be there. Trey had already changed his attitude by then and was excited to see his cousins.
