Father-n-Son's Stake Campout!

5.16 and 5.17.08
Trey and Justin's 1st ever Father-n-Son's Campout! I know Justin has been looking forward to taking Trey camping for years now, and the day finally came. The camping spot: Given's Hotsprings. Justin got off work really early to go reserve "the best" camping spot for our pop-up trailer. Trey was stoked to go camping, fishing and swimming with not only his dad, but with his uncle James and cousins Jared and Jacob! Justin said he did great, had fun fishing, was a little nervous swimming in the hotsprings and slept really well in the trailer!
Here are some pictures Justin "staged!" He said he had forgotten to take pictures until the last minute, so he staged some pictures! I think they are humerous and too cute!

Trey riding between his two oldest boy cousins, Jared (on the Left) and Jacob on the right. Trey is REALLY enjoying is favorite juice, BUG JUICE (it is NASTY!) and it looks like he had a yummy dinner, by the looks of the remains on his upper lip!

Trey demonstrating how he went fishing!

Trey showing us where he slept in the pop-up trailer. Justin said he was worried all night Trey was going to roll off the bed or get stuck in some little corner. How we both worry about the same thing.

This was taken after Trey went swimming in the nearby hot springs. Justin said he lost his balance too many times in the 2ft deep water which really startled him.

Thanks Justin for taking Trey for the evening. This was the FIRST EVER night away from Trey. As Trey was strapped in his carseat, ready for his big adventure, I said goodbye and tried to give him a hug, as the carseat was making it difficult. He grabbed the sides of my face and said, "I love you mom" as he gave me a kiss. I just about started to bawl. THEN, I realized I had an adventure to embark on myself!!!

Thanks again Justin for being the world's greatest father!

Simon was all set to take the boys to our father-n-son campout but then he noticed two hours of "church stuff" on the agenda and said "no way!"
