Ballgames

7.3.08
We had the opportunity to go see two of our favorite people play baseball/softball in the same night, AT the same time! What are the chances of that?! We got to see Taylor (Miss Michelle's daughter) and Jacob, one of "the Cousins" play in their last games of the season! We enjoyed running back and forth from one field to another, in hopes not to miss any huge plays!

-Jacob in Action-

Jacob did amazing! He has a great swing and hit two homeruns! Great game Jacob!

-Taylor in Action-

Taylor had a great game as well. She played outfield, 3rd base, and also played in the catchers position. Trey was a little unsure of Taylor's "mask," but Miss Michelle and I explained that it was to protect her face from the ball or bat!!! I think he was okay with her wearing the mask after that!
Taylor had a great play. As she was playing in the catcher's position, someone ran for home but somehow missed the home plate. Taylor had to chase her down in the opposing teams dug-out to tag her out! It was perfect for a laugh, that poor girl didn't realize what a huge mistake she had made. GO TAYLOR!

During the games, Trey enjoyed hanging out with his cousins and Miss Michelle.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture of Trey and Miss Michelle. Miss Michelle is one of the kindest, loving, sweetest and most supportive woman I know. She is always there for her two children, front and center for Taylor's softball game. Between her and my own mother, I have some great examples to follow for the perfect mothers!

After the games were done, Trey couldn't wait to give his cousin and favorite girl Taylor (he has an uncle named Taylor!) a hug and to tell them, "Good Job."

-Trey and Taylor-

When Trey went up to tell her she had done a good job,she had told Trey she was wearing her "lucky bracelet." It was the bracelet Trey bought for her in Cozumel! So sweet. She gave him a hug and told him to have a "good summer." I hadn't even thought this would be the last time to see her for a whole month. She was taking off the following day for a month long vacation with her brother Tanner and Dad. I just about started bawling. So sad, Taylor gone for the month!

Trey also wanted to give Tanner a hug. Tonight, he nicknamed Tanner "Partner." Don't ask me why, I have no idea!
