Anniversary Trip

5.24.09
So, did you think our Anniversary ended with Chuck E. Cheese? Well, it didn't. After church on Sunday afternoon, we packed up the boys and drove to Stanley, Idaho. We had stayed in Stanley for our 6 year anniversary, but only spent the night. This time we decided to stay for two nights and really enjoy the scenery, Redfish Lake, and the quietness of tiny Stanley.

We have somewhat of a tradition for our anniversary. We usually take a trip, which usually involves some sort of a road trip. As we drive, we listen to a talk, book, or advice on CD. This year, like last year, we listened to The 5 Love Languages. We have satellite radio, and could listen to 300+ channels, but Justin doesn't mind listening to a CD about marriage. He is the greatest!

Along the road, Trey had to use the restroom. This picture was taken AFTER the deed was done. Justin always comments on the views of the mountains. Trey was excited to be driving by mountains WITH snow on them. He wanted to get out and eat the snow! GROSS!

After checking into our cabin at Red Fish Lake, we took a little hike around the lake, Trey threw sticks and rocks into the lake, and Tian enjoyed his first hike in the baby backpack!

Trey found one stick in particular that closely resembled a rifle. That prized stick didn't leave his side during our entire stay.

There were no cell service, no tv, and no Internet. This trip was all about family and fun!

Who took the picture? If you put it on a timer I am totally impressed.
Your trip looks beautiful.
