Fishing in Stanley

5.25.09-Memorial Day

Justin promised Trey a fishing trip this morning, and Trey couldn't be more excited. He woke up at 5:30am, along with Tian, and was out the door by 6:15am. Justin had purchased an inflatable raft to fish from prior to our trip, this fishing trip would be the first in the raft. Justin blew up the raft as I got the boys ready. The weather was a bit chilly, so Trey and Tian were basically dressed for Winter, although it was the end of May.

Doesn't Trey look ecstatic?!

Tian watching the boys aboard their little raft. Behind Tian is an "Aquatic Bike." You can actually ride these on top of the water!

I was a bit surprised when Trey and Justin were one of the only "boats" on the large lake this morning. (there was one other boat, which was motorized, on the lake) I helped push the raft into the water, and then walked along a path which followed the lake, as the boys fished. The view was beautiful!

Tian and I enjoyed our walk. Tian giggled, chit-chatted, and smiled through the whole walk as we tried to spot the boys upon the lake!

We were done at about 9:30. What a peaceful morning!

Love these pictures Becca! Tian is such a big boy. I love him all bundled up!
