This year, we were a little over excited, we decided to get to the park, in nearly 30 degree weather, for the pancacke breakfast at 8am. We were the 4th family to get there, and we froze as we ate our pancakes.
We had about 2 hours before the actual egg scramble was to start, so we played on the parks play structure, and then resorted to our car to warm up for about a half an hour.
There were astro-jumps for the kids to play in and also a clown creating balloon objects. Trey spotted a kid leaving the clown carrying a fishing pole, and that is what HE wanted. He asked the clown himself for a fishing pole, and even tipped the clown afterwards. He was so shy but I was happy he did everything himself. He was a proud as ever carrying that fishing pole around the park, for the short time he got to. (It soon popped!)
Notice how close Trey is standing next to the clown? Yeah, he gets it from me, I am not particularly fond of clowns either.
Once the scramble began, it was crazy. Trey's age group was the 2nd to go, so we didn't have to wait in the cold for very long.
We had a great time, hoping Trey will enjoy these little outings and have fond memories of his crazy parents!
