Trey's 2nd Dentist appointment went beautifully! At his last visit, he wouldn't even sit in the dentist chair, was afraid of the gloves, and would barely let Dr. Higer look in his mouth. This visit was a completely different story! He was totally excited to go, he had been talking about it for days. We had been reading "The Berenstain Bears Goes to the Dentist" book and any other book about teeth and the dentist we could get our hands on, so he would be prepared!
This visit we had the nicest dental assistant who was young and very relaxed. She showed Trey all of the instruments, let him drink from the little water squirter and let him touch the electric tooth brush. His favorite part this time WAS the blue gloves and the cool sun glasses he got to wear while watching the "Cars" movie from the dentist chair.
Trey let the dental assistant look at his teeth, floss them and then brush them.
When Dr. Higer entered the room, he was about done and decided he wanted out of the chair. She was still able to look at his teeth, and gave him a clean bill of health. LOVE HER! Dr. Higer by the way ALWAYS catches me off guard. She is shorter then me, and looks younger then me, although I know she is NOT younger then me. She is amazing and I do love her!
